This is the 1st announcement (MS Word) (some deadlines have been extended from the dates listed in this notice file) of the Joint conference of 14th Asia Plasma and Fusion Association Conference (APFA 2025) and 2nd NIFS Workshop on Diversity of Three-dimensional Magnetic Confinement System. This conference is organized by National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS) and will be held at Nagoya Prime Central Tower near Nagoya Station (see [Venue]).

Abstract Submission : From October 28 (Tue.) to November 25 (Tue.), 2025 (extended)
Abstract submission can be done from the [Abstract submission / Registration] menu.
First, sign up is needed. Then activate your account via the email sent to you.

If you need VISA support, please check [Visa Support] in the menu.

Registration can be completed on the same page as [Abstract submission / Registration].
The registration fee is JPY 30,000 for regular participants and JPY 10,000 for student participants.
This includes all Technical Program, Conference Materials, Refreshment Breaks, Banquet (December 15).

The joint conference of 14th Asia Plasma and Fusion Association Conference (APFA 2025) and 2nd NIFS Workshop on Diversity of Three-dimensional Magnetic Confinement System will be held at Nagoya, Japan from December 15 to 17, 2025.

We cordially invite and ask you to submit the abstract for APFA 2025 and 2nd NIFS workshop on diversity of three-dimensional magnetic confinement system. Authors are required to submit it the abstract via online abstract submission. The deadline for the abstract submission is November 7, 2025 (Friday).

about APFA
The Asia Plasma and Fusion Association (APFA) was established under the cooperation of the academic societies and research laboratories related to plasma and nuclear fusion researches in Japan, China and South Korea in 1998. And it was expanded to four countries by joint of India in 2003. The purpose of the APFA is to organize Asian scientists and engineers working in plasma and fusion science and engineering fields, to exchange information on mutual interests, to strengthen friendships, to promote education of young scientists and engineers, and to contribute to the development of plasma science and fusion engineering.
